The Valcon TD164S Liquid Line Filter Drier is designed for efficient moisture, acid, and particulate removal to protect and extend the life of refrigeration and air conditioning systems. Featuring 1/2″ solid copper ODF soldered fittings, it ensures a leak-proof, secure connection for permanent installation. The solid molded desiccant core combines molecular sieve and activated alumina, maximizing drying efficiency and acid neutralization while maintaining low pressure drop for optimal system performance. The durable steel shell is coated with corrosion-resistant epoxy powder for longevity and reliable protection in demanding environments. Compatible with various refrigerants including HCFCs, HFCs, and CFCs, the TD164S is recommended for use close to expansion devices and other critical points in the system.
