The Castel 1020/2S valve is a normally closed, direct-acting solenoid valve with a 1/4″ SAE flare connection designed for refrigeration and HVAC applications. It supports refrigerants including HCFCs (R22), HFCs (R134a, R404A, R407C, R410A, R507), HFOs (R1234ze), and their blends, complying with ASHRAE 34:2019 Class A1 safety standards. The valve has a flow coefficient (Kv) of 0.175 m³/h, a maximum pressure rating of 45 bar, and an operating temperature range from -35°C up to +110°C. The valve is sold without the coil, allowing users to attach compatible coils such as HF2, HF3, HF4, HM2, HM3, HM4, or CM2 series depending on system voltage requirements.
