The Castel Solenoid Valve 3/8 1028/3S solenoid valve is a normally closed valve with a 3/8″ ODS solder connection designed for refrigeration and air conditioning systems. It operates as a direct-acting valve dependent on the magnetic field generated by the coil current. This valve is constructed with a robust brass body offering corrosion resistance and durability. It handles refrigerants including HCFCs, HFCs, and HFO blends. The valve has a flow coefficient (Kv) suitable for medium flow rates, with a maximum operating pressure of 45 bar and operating temperature range from -35°C to +110°C (with temperature peaks up to 130°C during defrosting). It is sold without a coil to allow selection of compatible coils per system requirements.
